This woman is just the biggest inspiration that I have yet adored during my lifetime.
Her art and music is different, special, always surprising and complex and I feel like there is no better
music than hers.

Real futuristic inspiration

I love everything that contains great new thoughts on how the future could look like. Movies like Matrix, In Time or Cloud Atlas are some of the most inspiring things for me because they have such ingenious ideas for the future that designers for fashion as well as cars and architecture copy for our 'real life'. They even touch cultural aspects such as language. 

We should not stop learning from other cultures as well, since they partly also live in their own developing world.

So, what I watched today gave me another insight of how our future is 'developing', especially in fashion. Also it shows a lot of images from Japan, which is sooo awesome! Japanese people inspire me with their discipline at work on one hand and creative outbursts on the streets on the other, creative eruptions that we as the Western kids don't see as much out on our streets. Japanese kids are just so crazy <3

I feel like Japanese fashion is always a step ahead when it comes to unconventionality.

I'm presently hyping Clean Bandit since not only their song "Rather Be" but also their other songs that came out so far are kind of melancholic yet not boring but... one just gets a nice feeling from them. Their videos on the other side, I would describe as puzzled with emotions and impressions from many different places but still they also realized random ideas that just seemed to have been fun while making the video.

I can't wait for their album to be released on June 2, 2014, it definitely will be my soundtrack of this summer! Get an impression yourself:

What I'm even more attracted to than the glittery green shirt in the following video is model Lily Cole. More about her and her work in another post, but first: All eyes and ears on Clean Bandit!

 

These pictures are just the kind i'm so in love with. Tricia Davidge's photography is always worth to take a look at, showing this unmistakable touch of the Californian environment. And one of her best fortunes: She's not only an overly talented photographer but also very often her own make-up and hair stylist. There's a lot of custom shoots she's taking but her own creative shoots are usually incredibly artistic and well realized. I'm so glad I got to know her and her pictures, getting more and more inspiration from her.

Such beautiful weather! I had to take a picture of those leaves in the morning even though I was late for school. One always needs to enjoy the best moments in life a little longer than the others! Now, I have to wait another year to see those wonderful flower leaves all over the place again...

My favorite Sailor Moooon outfit!

The series I'm addicted to at the moment, not as you could assume 'Game of Thrones', is Sailor Moon.

You remember that clumsy blonde girl from the 90's??

 I rediscovered it for it's awesome inspiring 90's style of video making (which I also love), and the cute oufits the girls wear. 

 My all time favorite outfit though is this one, pink sweater tucked in olive green high waisted shorts:

 

 

 

To get the look, I found us a more recent version of the outfit to fit the new trends like tropical flower prints and short cut sweaters.

   

 

If you want to get more inspirational pictures and colors in the look of the 90's you should definitely not miss Sailor Moon!!!

Guys, Miley is going to be the next Lady Gaga!... Uum what? 
Although I don't much like her music, her appearance and attitude is unique but still represents our generation. Girls wanting to run around naked, spamming Twitter and Instagram and always being on top of our styles (she was the one that wore the 'Blurred Lines' outfit first, wasn't she?).

"You don't have to wear makeup. You don't have to have long blonde hair and big titties. That's not what it's about. It's, like, personal style."

Jean Paul Gaultier, Fall/Winter 2014/2015

What's most interesting about Jean Paul Gaultier's fashion show, in my opinion, is not the future and punk like look with the shiny, silvery garment and the tartan look. It was the people who where presenting Gaultier's new collection that set a nice example for who should show people what to wear. And I like the glasses in the middle. 90's style woopwoop

JAW & Kevork Keshishian - Hazihi Laylaty - هذه ليلتي

I don't remember where I got that one from but it just occupied my mind and didn't let me go since. What's special about it is that I didn't watch anything like this before and didn't find anything like it yet. I thought this might be a good one for the first post.
